This policy explains what information Business Automator ("we", "us") collects when a home service business ("Client") uses our quote follow-up service, and when a Client's customer ("Customer") receives or replies to a text message sent through it.
From Clients, when they connect their Jobber account:
From Customers, only in connection with a quote sent by a Client:
We use this information solely to operate the follow-up service: to send relevant SMS messages about a specific quote, answer questions about that quote, apply pricing the Client has authorized, and book a visit in the Client's Jobber account when agreed. We do not sell Customer or Client data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Information is shared only with the service providers required to run this system: our hosting/database provider, our SMS provider (for sending and receiving text messages), and Jobber (to read quotes and create jobs/visits). We do not share Customer data with any Client other than the one the Customer received a quote from.
Conversation and quote data is retained for as long as the Client's account is active, plus a reasonable period after for support and record-keeping, unless deletion is requested sooner.
A Customer can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. A Client can request deletion of their data by contacting us at the email below.
